The new "The Walking Dead" spin-off, "The Walking Dead: Dead City", follows the story of Maggie and Negan. It is the fourth spin-off series of "The Walking Dead" television series and the first direct sequel to the television series. Eli Jorné serves as showrunner, starring Lauren Cohan as Maggie, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, Gaius Charles, and Zeljko Ivanek, among others.

The series follows Maggie and Negan as they enter a post-apocalyptic Manhattan filled with the walking dead in search of Maggie's kidnapped son, Hershel. It is scheduled to premiere on June 18, 2023, on AMC and AMC+.
