Sony Pictures has shared a trailer for the sci-fi horror film Afraid, which is scheduled to be released on August 30 this year. The film was produced by Blumhouse Productions, the company that made the film M3GAN, a horror film released in 2022 and a box office success. Afraid is written and directed by Chris Weitz, starring John Cho, Katherine Waterston, Havana Rose Liu, Lukita Maxwell, David Dastmalchian, and Keith Carradine.
