1899 is a mystery thriller TV series coming to Netflix on November 17. It is a new work brought by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, creators of Dark.

The series tells the story of a group of people who travel by ship from London to New York at the end of the 19th century, looking forward to starting their new lives in the New World. But their boat meets another ship at sea, and that's when the nightmare happens.
It is a multi-lingual show, including English, French, Spanish, Polish, etc. The international cast includes Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann, Miguel Bernardeau, Maciej Musial, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Rosalie Craig, Clara Rosager, Maria Erwolter, Yann Gael, Mathilde Ollivier, José Pimentão, Isabella Wei, Gabby Wong, Jonas Bloquet, Fflyn Edwards, Alexandre Willaume and Anton Lesser.
