Eiichiro Oda's One Piece is a bestselling manga series loved by fans worldwide, and now its live-action series from Netflix is scheduled to be released on August 31, 2023. Oda is the series' executive producer and has been involved in many aspects of the development, including casting approval, post-production and refining the tone with an expert level of detail. Matt Owens and Steven Maeda are writers, executive producers, and showrunners of the series. It stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar.
