Sony Pictures has shared a trailer for Garfield's new film, an animated comedy set to hit theaters this May 24th. The indoor cat everyone knows who hates Monday and loves lasagna will be experiencing outdoor adventures within the new film. Adapted from Jim Davis' comic strip, The Garfield Movie is directed by Mark Dindal and features the voices of Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, and Snoop Dogg.

After an unforeseen encounter with his estranged father, Vic, who's a ragged outdoor cat, Garfield and his dog friend Odie find themselves drawn from their luxurious, carefree existence. They're thrust into undertaking a comedic, high-risk heist with Vic.
