Cascadeur is a 3D animation software for physics-based character animation. It can be used to create keyframe animations of 3D characters, humanoid or other characters. Recently, a new version Cascadeur 2022.2EA has been released.
What's New?
This update focuses on improvements to AI tools. For example, AutoPosing can now include the character's hip and neck in its pose predictions. The Secondary Motion tool in the AutoPhysics module has been reworked from the ground up and now runs more stable than previous versions.
Other key improvements include:
- New Kinematics Type: Global Rotation;
- Cycles with offset;
- Quick Rigging Tool supports for weapons and twists;
- Improved Root constraint: added a new script for exporting with T-pose root;
