10026 [Reference Object] Loss of External Reference Object

1.     Common problems for external reference object:

a.     External reference object is not loaded

b.     External reference object texture is not read


2.     The impact of external reference object problem:

a.     Wrong render output effect, missing some of the external reference objects

b.     Rendering is failed, stating that the map file is missing

c.     Preprocessing is failed


3.     Solution for the loss of external reference object:

a.     Please use the refence object and merge into the main scene and tick the below 3 items in red box

b.     Select the file that you need to refer, by which your reference object file must be placed at E-Z disk drive absolute path

c.     Select the object you need and click “OK”

d.     Double click the .max file and you can see the object that you choose to load

e.     For the loss of reference object texture, please use shortcut key “Shift+T” to view the map lost information

f.      Right-click on the missing map file, click “Set Path…”

g.     “Specify Asset Path” pop-up box will appear and click on “…” button to choose the correct map file path and then choose the corresponding map file

h.     Double confirm the path and the file whether it is correct, then press “OK”
