Frequently Seen Errors for SketchUp Users

Note:

A. Please use the absolute path for all assets in E-Z disk drive.

B. If the analyze failed, please contact customer service team to change the machine which has SketchUp installed to re-analyze again.

C. If the render failed, please choose the failed tasks and click resubmit button.

 

1.     Analysis failed:

a.     Please check if the analysis machine has SketchUp installed, please check the path C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015 (2016). Please check if there is any file inside the folder, if it does not have, the issue may come from the Image file.

b.     Check if there is any A, B, C, D disk drive used in project directory. Currently, we only support SketchUp full path render. The rest of paths, such as shared path (\\server\files), IP path (\\192.168.0.21), and A, B, C, D disk drives cannot be supported. Please use the supported path and then submit the render job.

2.     Render task failed:

a.     Please check if the file can be opened correctly.

b.     Check if there is any pop-up when you open the files, which may cause the render to fail.


3.     Incorrect render result:

a.     If some parts of texture, light, or environment has not been rendered, please check if the asset path which loaded in .skp file is correct. Please also make sure the disk drive used must be E to Z disk drive. If there are some assets missing, please re-upload the relevant assets, and then submit the render job again.

b.     The internet issue which caused the asset cannot be loaded correctly.

c.     The incorrect V-Ray version has been chosen.

d.     The SketchUp version is incorrect

e.     After analyzing, the user needs to choose render still image or animation while submitting the render job.

 

4.     Animation rendering files requirement:

a.     All scenes files must be open in Animation mode as below:

b.     Scene transitions: Scene Delay value should be set as "0"

c.     If render animation is sequence, please two options in the V-Ray option editor as below. Otherwise, the system will render single frame by default. Our platform does not support render only specified frames as the green part in below.

d.     To create camera, the user needs to do the operation as below:

e.     To switch the render camera:

f.      All assets must be using E to Z disk drives, we do not support shared path (\\share\project) as well as IP path (\\192.168.0.22).
